...fitting farewell to David Roberts
A new CD with a difference has been launched by Clydesdale Folk Club — in memory of club stalwart David Roberts.
The double album, Have a Nice Life, is dedicated to David, who died suddenly in June 2005 and is the culmination of over a year's work for the club and David's family.
The launch night, held at the Elphinstone Hotel in Biggar, was also declared a success.
Folk club treasurer Chris McCosh said: "It was a fantastic evening's entertainment. We managed to get a lot of the people who played on the CD to come along and it was a brilliant night.
